Press Release Regarding The Attacks From Jewish Settlements On The Palestinian Villages In The West Bank , 22.03.2010
We deeply regret that the four of those Palestinians who were wounded on March 20, and March 21st, 2010, as a result of the gunfire by the Israeli soldiers during the incidents provoked by the acts of harassment of the Jewish settlers in the villages close to the Palestinian city of Nablus in the West Bank, have lost their lives. We condemn these acts.
We are also concerned by the news that the Red Crescent ambulance dispatched to transport the wounded was denied passage by Israeli soldiers.
At a time when we need the building of mutual trust between the parties more than ever, and in line with several warnings we have previously made, we invite Israel to take necessary measures to prevent recurrence of these kind of attacks from Jewish settlements on the Palestinian villages in the West Bank.
